How can I contact the organizer with any questions?

Please email rendezvous2017@vckc.net or call (513) 312-2447.  Don't be shy, we will be happy to answer any Rendezvous or paddling related questions!

I can only attend one day of rendezvous. Is there a discount?

Sorry but no. The registration fee covers many Rendezvous expenses including  insurance, pavilion rentals, entertainment, refreshments, administrative fees, etc.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Yes, but please inform us by email the name and contact details of the person using your registration.

What is your cancellation policy?

Why on earth would you not want to attend the coolest paddling festival on the planet?  Ok, we know stuff happens, so our cancellation policy is simple. Full refund of Rendezvous registration is available up to Friday, October 13th, 2017. Please email the event organizer rendezvous2017@vckc.net by this date to receive your refund.  If you made camping or lodging reservations you are responsible for making those cancellations.  The Rendezvous 2017 organizers are not responsible for any cancellation fees incurred by Silver Springs State Park and/or other lodging.

If I am camping or hoteling outside Silver Springs State Park do I have to pay to enter Silver Springs State Park?

Yes, Silver Springs State State Park admission fees must be paid to enter the Campground and Picnic Pavilion area where the Rendezvous nightly dining and entertainment events are happening.  The state park admission fee is $8 per vehicle (up to 8 people per vehicle) per day. If you are a Florida State Park Annual Pass holder, you do not have to pay the admission fee.  If you are camping at Silver Springs State Park campground, park admission is included in your camping fees.

I want to camp in the primitive campground. Will I have to pay a park entrance fee each day?

No. Primitive campers have full access to Silver Springs State Park with their Rendezvous registration. You must check in at Rendezvous registration at Picnic Pavilion to get camping gate lock code.

I don't own a boat. Can I rent a boat for the weekend?

Rentals are available for most trips. Check out the trip plans for information regarding the outfitter and contact information.  Be sure to reserve your boat for each trip you have signed up for.

I'm a really good swimmer and very experienced paddler. Do I have to wear a PFD?

Yes.  During all Rendezvous paddles PFDs are required by the insurance company and for your own safety.

Are pets allowed on paddling trips?

The only river trip that officially denies pets on the river is Juniper Creek...so technically pets are allowed on all other trips; however, we strongly recommend you leave your pets at home or at the campsite.  All rivers we will be paddling have native wildlife including alligators that have a soft spot in their appetite for small pets.  So for the safety of your pets, please do not bring them on the river.

Are there other activities to do?

Yes! Silver Springs State Park offers glass bottom boat rides, a museum, ornamental gardens, bicycle and bird trails plus tours and a restaurant. Check out Silver Springs State Park website for all the details.

If you are an art lover, the nearby Appleton Museum of Art is worthy of a visit.
